New Mexico requires persons making qualifying independent expenditures to file reports within three days of the expenditure over $1,000 for a non-statewide election or $3,000 for a statewide election during the election cycle, or within 24 hours if it is over $3,000 within seven days of the statewide or non-statewide election.
This report pulls in all Support/Oppose memos meeting these aggregate thresholds depending on the report version selected:
- 72 Hour Non-Statewide – Over $1,000
- 72 Hour Statewide – Over $3,000
- 24 Hour – Over $3,000
Alerts should also be triggered notifying the committee of when a report needs to be filed.
Once this report is ran, you need to go to the NM reporting system to add your transactions as appropriate there.
