Some emails from ISP are sent on your behalf. For these, ISP creates a forwarding email address for you in the format firstname.lastname@users.ispolitical.com. When someone replies to one of these emails, their reply is automatically forwarded to your email address.
Why do I have a users.ispolitical.com email address?
The forwarding email address allows ISP to send emails on your behalf and makes sure any responses to those emails get to you. You will have one if you set up scheduled reports that go to other people, or if you e-file in an agency that uses email as a filing method.
Can I see my users.ispolitical.com email address in my account?
No. The forwarding email address is not visible in your account and is used only behind the scenes. If you need to confirm your forwarding email address, contact Support.
What if I receive a suspicious email at my users.ispolitical.com email address?
Because anything sent to your forwarding email address is forwarded to you, it is possible to receive an email that did not come from ISP. If you receive an unexpected or suspicious email, do not click any links or download any attachments, and contact Support.
