FEC Form 3 and its 3X (Party), 3X (Non-Party), 3P variations will display a post-generation, pre-filing warning when a donor’s activity has met the threshold for itemization but Occupation and/or Employer information is missing from the Individual record.
Use the Missing Occupation/Employer report (found in the Reports menu under Compliance Tools) to generate a list of qualifying records and optionally mark the information as requested.
By default, if a record is missing information in either the Occupation or Employer field, and the information has been marked as requested, the generated FEC Form 3 or variation will display “Information Requested” in each applicable field.
