How Do I Add a Loan Repayment or Forgiveness?

How do I make a loan repayment?

1. Navigate to the loan, either on the Balances page or within the entity’s record
2. To the right of the loan transaction, click the hotdog menu (three dots) and select Add Repayment
3. Fill out the details for the repayment and save.

How do I add a partial or full forgiveness of an outstanding loan or payment by a Third Party?

1. Navigate to the loan and click the hotdog menu to the right of the transaction
2. Select Add Balance Reduction and enter the details
3. In the Tags dropdown menu, select Forgiven if the debt has been forgiven or Third Party Repayment if another individual repaid the loan on behalf of the committee
4. Click Save
