About the IL Schedule A-1
The IL Schedule A-1 Form is used to file for Contributions of $1,000 or more from a single source.
Illinois e-filing expects the type of transaction, such as Monetary Contribution or Expense, to be submitted with an exact format, including spelling and capitalization. To accommodate the All Caps option, there are some words that will never be in all caps, like Contribution or Expenditure.
This report should be generated for the full quarter the transaction(s) fall in. For example, if the transaction is dated May 14th, the report should be generated with a date range of April 1st through June 30th.
If you need to file more than one A-1 report within the same period, just keep using the same date range. Illinois’ system does not consider this to be a duplicate filing.
